The end is near.

In just the blink of an eye,it is already the 17th of May. This means that i have only slightly more than a month to go before i quit my job at the zoo. The date has been set..my last day of work shall be the 23rd of June. Looking at where i am now, my impression of working at the zoo is no longer as good as what i had when i just joined. There is simply so much politics going on . Yes i know,politics are rampant everywhere but this is the zoo for goodness sake. You don't have to backstab one another to climb up the promotional ladder cause basically it is non existent. There is also much hypocrisy around and some people are going around addressing one another as "brother" or "buddy" even when in reality they dislike that particular person. Well,enough of complaining. Looking back,working at the zoo is also not that bad an idea. All the politics aside,this is the place where i got to know her and eventually ended up with her. If it wasn't for the zoo i guess i may still be single and she would still be in her own world. At the same time,the zoo also exposed me to a different working environment which i may never get the chance to experience again. It's not everyday that you pick up dog's faeces or get bitten by macaws you know. On the whole,i would like to thank God for giving me this oppurtunity to work at the zoo. If it wasn't for his plans for me,i don't think i would be so lucky to be with her--she who never fails to put a smile on my face and who is always so cute and adorable=). Ok,enough of the mushy stuff just know that working at the zoo has indeed been an interesting experience for me....The countdown to the end has begun=)
