Tank revamp on 04/11/06
The was the day i did a major overhaul on the interior design of my fish tank.It was not really a good time to do so,especially when 2 pairs of discus had just spawned(mentioned in earlier entry). I was really afraid that disturbances to the tank may cause the discus to abandon their nest sites but thankfully that did not happen. I had no choice but to implement the tank changes as the plants i had ordered about 1 week ago was due to arrive and a delay in planting may cause them to die. Hence,i had to proceed as planned but throughout the entire process,i took extra precaution not to startle or cause too much distress to the 2 spawning pairs of discus. The following photographs are of the new tank layout.Enjoy=).

how's e little fishes doing? gd? anw, i tried searchin for them in e pics but cant seem to find any... r they inside? i'm jus curious~~~~~ =D

haiz,time now is 6pm on 06/11/06. I checked the nest site for the first pair of discus,all the baby fish are gone and the parents have moved away from the site.Guess the baby fishes from this site have all been eaten up.As for the other site,i can still baby fishes but their outlook doesn't seem to good because this pair of fishes are not as caring and defensive as the first pair. Oh u can't see the baby fishes cos they are really small. But in the previous post,one of the discus pictures had 2 fishes near a black object in the foreground. You can see many white dots on the black object..those are actually eggs=)
