Trip down memory lane

A little outdated entry as usual but nonetheless something worth mentioning. The other day on the 5th of february, me and babe went back to visit the zoo. It has been several months since our last visit and it was initally meant to coincide with our 1st yr anni. Anyway, this time round, things were different. Instead of the usual sneaking into the zoo because we happened to know some entrance staff, for a change, we entered as paying visitors at a whopping $16.50 per person! Haha, well, the ticket price aside, our trip there was basically a trip back down memory lane. From the moment we started out on our journey there, we began reminiscing those times when both of us were still working there, as staff of 2 different departments working under the same company. It was pretty sweet to think back on how we got to know one another and some of the things that took place there and then. To sum it up, i had a great day with babe. Both of us just relaxing and enjoying ourselves without having to worry about anything at all. No more being afraid of being caught holding hands, no more having to be conscious of the time because break was ending. It was just a day of me and her, how much simpler can it get? Anyway, it was nice meeting and catching up with some familiar faces, both human and animal. Realised that since we left, there has been quite a number of staff having left the zoo as well, especially in my department. But theres one thing i am really happy about. The zoo now has one less bast**d or does it? Well, according to my ex-colleagues, he went to try to be a pilot. Perhaps he is hoping to fly some aeroplanes..well in my opinion, with the qualification and attitude that he has, the only aeroplane that he would be flying would be made of paper.Think it is so easy? I'd say go fly kite a**hole. Just had to make that comment=P. I just hope that babe and I can weather the test of time so that in the years to come, we can always return back to the zoo together, back to the place where it all started=).
