A day of get together and celebrations

Yesterday,the 24th of november was a special day. Special in a sense that a few of us church friends and friends of friends got together to throw Yasmin a surprise birthday celebration as her's had just passed not long ago on the 13th. All along right up to the moment she stepped into her own house,Yasmin was clueless of what was going on. Well,she has Jessica to thank for organising this event and allowing us to get together. Infact,i also have Jessica to thank because i have not met a few of them for almost 2 years. Anyway,the night was filled with fun and laughter as we sat down at the table together to have our dinner which was prepared by a few of the girls. In the midst of it,there were also ongoing interviews and free consultation sessions.Thereafter we adjourned to the "playing arena" as Yasmin had put it which was actually the living room where we played games and watched television. For a moment i had thought that i was going to lose my voice as i kept laughing. We even celebrated Yasmin's nephew,AAron's birthday as his was just round the corner on the 28th. Sadly though,time really flew while we were enjoying and before long,it was rather late and a few of us had to leave for home. But well,i really did have lots of fun and it was nice to meet up with them again. Perhaps we could have another gathering soon?
